The Story of showing off Athletic Success at CHS

Most Chelsea residents know that sports at CHS have a long history of success: state titles for baseball, softball and track (well-deserved at the 2013 state meet!) to start...not to mention almost innumerable conference, district, and regional championships. CHS is proud to point to a host of its athletes from the past who achieved "state champion" status in their particular sport. A number of CHS alumnus have gone on to perform on larger collegiate and even professional athletic stages.
Such athletic success and achievement actually creates a problem for the athletic director: how to display the seemingly mountains of trophies, plaques and other awards CHS teams earn each year. The hallway outside the CHS gymnasium contains 6 glass trophy cases, but the hardware far outpaces the showcase shelves. The trophy cases were recently reconfigured in order to display each team's most prestigious awards.
Check out these trophy cases next time you're near the gym - their contents are a great reminder of the stellar legacy of CHS athletics.
